Hon. Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. President of the Republic of the Philippines Malacañang Palace, Manila Dear President Marcos, Good day. I’m Leanne, a Grade 10 student from Bantay, Ilocos Sur. I’m writing to you not just as a student, but as a young Filipino who cares deeply about the future of our country especially when it comes to education and the role of the youth in shaping our society.
don’t always meet our needs. I know that change takes time, but I believe that improving our education system should be one of our top priorities. We need classrooms that inspire learning, teachers who are supported and empowered, and lessons that help us understand not just academics, but also our responsibilities as citizens.
I also hope that more opportunities will be given to young people to speak up, lead, and make a difference. We have ideas, energy, and a strong desire to help but sometimes we feel unheard. I believe that if we’re given the right support and platforms, we can contribute so much to our communities and to the country.
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. I may be young, but I believe that every voice matters and I hope mine reaches you. I wish you strength and wisdom as you continue to lead the Philippines. Sincerely, Leanne Angelique Perilla Grade 10 Student Zone 2, Bantay, Ilocos Sur
